After completing her articles in the financial services division of Deloitte, she moved to London with Fidelity Investments. She joined RMB Global Markets in 2005 and established and subsequently ran the Fixed Income Prime Broking division until 2016. Lauren occupied various roles across the FirstRand group over the next few years focussing on social impact. In 2023 she joined RMB Ventures as part of the Value Creation team with a specific focus on Shared Value and Impact.
